Travel platforms broke trust with pay-to-play incentives. Roamly exists to rebuild it.
Trust is the product
Rankings should reflect real experiences — not ad spend, affiliate kickbacks, or who knows how to game the system.
No pay-to-play
Businesses can’t buy higher placement. Period. Paying customers get tools — not preferential ratings.
Fake & incentivized reviews are the enemy
We don’t pay for reviews, and we fight spam, manipulation, and “review-for-perks” schemes. When we detect it, we remove it.
Planning-first
Roamly isn’t just a list of places — it’s a workflow: discover → decide → plan → go. Guides and the planner turn insight into an itinerary.
What we will not do
- Sell higher rankings or “featured placement” that looks organic
- Allow sponsored content to blend into unbiased recommendations
- Hide negative reviews for paying businesses
- Turn the site into an ad warehouse
If we ever introduce sponsorship modules, they will be clearly labeled and separated from trust-based ranking. (You can read the rules on the Neutrality page.)
